The detail

Cheetah Plains boasts three exclusive-use, designer Bush Houses that each feature four private suites with king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms with double rain showers and a bathtub overlooking the bushveld, dressing rooms, lounge, minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, and private deck with a daybed.

Each Bush House can accommodate a maximum of eight guests and includes two comfortable lounges, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, an outdoor boma, wine cellar, a heated swimming pool, and a private viewing deck with a daybed. The Bush Houses are serviced by a private chef, butler, and professional guide for the duration of your stay. Guests staying at Cheetah Plains have access to a central gym as well as a private spa therapist.

Setting out into the bushveld in the late afternoon is the ideal time to spot the predators that prowl the Sabi Sand. Leopard and lion emerge in the early evening to drink water or rest before the night’s hunt.

As part of the concession rights, only two safari vehicles are allowed in the shared areas of the reserve at any given time. You're guaranteed exclusivity as you go on safari through Cheetah Plains and the surrounding area.

The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife - 145 mammal species, 110 reptiles, and 500 bird species. Guests can look forward to sightings of leopard, lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, hyena and various antelope. The reserve also offers sanctuary to a number of endangered animals such as wild dogs, honey badgers and ground hornbills.
