Set along the vibrant banks of the Great Fish River, Great Fish River Lodge is thoughtfully designed to highlight the vast surrounding wilderness. Expansive viewing decks allow guests to immerse themselves in nature, providing ideal spots to watch kudu wander to the river or take in an unforgettable African sunset.
The lodge welcomes children aged 12 and older.
Great Fish River Lodge exudes a calm, classic-contemporary style with a warm, natural color palette. Each of the nine spacious suites has floor-to-ceiling glass doors that reveal sweeping views of the wild landscape, along with ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and both indoor baths and showers. Guests can unwind on the main lodge’s deck, read in the cozy library, or enjoy African-inspired cuisine in a candlelit dining room or traditional boma.
Your stay includes twice-daily game drives, guided nature walks with an armed ranger, and big game walking safaris where you can track rhinos, elephants, and buffalo on foot. A private guide and vehicle are available for an additional fee. When not out exploring, relax at your suite’s private plunge pool or unwind in the lodge’s welcoming living spaces.
