You should know

• Children of all ages are welcome at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge.
• Children from 0-18 years only are charged child rates. Children of 19 years & over traveling with parents are charged adult rates.
• Children of 3-6 years will be accommodated on a kiddies drive from 10am-12pm at no extra charge. They will be required to have a guardian adult of the parents choice within the group booked.
• Children 0-3 years may only go on game drives if a private vehicle is booked at additional cost.
• There are no afternoon/evening game drives for children 3-6 years. There will be a supervised kiddies playtime/activity between 2.00pm-3.00pm in winter & 3.00 pm-4.00 pm in summer.
• A 2-night minimum stay applies.

The detail

Hluhluwe - iMfolozi National Park is Africa's oldest game reserve and is home to the beautiful Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge. Set in a 96 000 hectare park, Rhino Ridge is a 4-star luxury lodge that offers spectacular scenery and excellent Big Five safari opportunities.

Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge boasts 18 rooms in four different room types. The rooms have been carefully positioned high up on a ridge to take full advantage of the spectacular views over the hills and valleys of Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park while at the same time giving each room maximum privacy.

The eight Luxury Bush Villas include a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, luxurious indoor shower, private wooden deck, mini bar, fireplace, overhead fan and air conditioning.

The two Honeymoon Villas include a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, luxurious indoor shower, private wooden deck, mini bar, fireplace, overhead fan, air conditioning, and private plunge pool.

The four Safari Rooms & two Safari Family Rooms feature a twin or king size bed, en-suite shower, separate toilet, private wooden deck, mini bar, overhead fan and air conditioning. The family rooms boast two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms and common inter-leading lobby.

Some of the rooms are a distance from the main lodge area so guests are advised to pack comfortable flat shoes for walking along the paths.

Facilities at the lodge include a sparkling swimming pool, Wi-Fi connectivity, a conference venue, laundry service, bar, and restaurant.  

Activites offered at the lodge or nearby include open vehicle game drives, safari walks, bird watching, cultural trips and boat cruises on Lake St Lucia.

Price includes

• Accommodation, all meals, teas & coffees, and morning and afternoon game drives. Each guest is entitled to a glass of wine, local beer, cider or soft drink on the evening game drive.
