The detail

Within Tanzania’s renowned northern safari circuit, Simbavati Grumeti is at home on the open plains between the Serengeti National Park and the Grumeti River.

It is on these acacia dotted plains that multitudes of wildlife congregate all year round in a game viewing spectacular. Surrender to the Tanzanian wilderness with game drives, sundowners, night drives, boma dinners, spa treatments and more.

These plains also play host to vast herds of wildebeest, which assemble during their annual migration and move between the north and south of the Serengeti National Park. You may also be lucky enough to see buffalo, giraffe, lion and other wildlife from your tent and the lodge.

‍Ten luxury safari tents have a king-sized bed (which can be converted to twin), en-suite bathroom with outdoor showers, ample storage space, viewing deck and views over the plains.

‍Two family tents have a king-sized bed (which can be converted to twin), second bedroom with twin beds, en-suite bathroom with outdoor showers, ample storage space, viewing deck and views over the plains.
