Child Policy

• Children of all ages are welcome at Singita Sasakwa Lodge.
• Infants under the age of 2 years will be accommodated free of charge.
• Children aged 2-16 years will be accommodated at 50% of the adult rate when sharing a standard Suite with 1 adult or child.
• Children accommodated in their own suite will attract the full adult rate.
• Families of up to 3 members (including at least 1 child under the age of 10) are required to book and pay for the use of a private safari vehicle (subject to availability)
• Families of 4 or more members (including at least 1 child under the age of 10) are guaranteed the complimentary use of a private safari vehicle.

The Detail

Perched on top of Sasakwa Hill, Singita Sasakwa Lodge offers a spectacular vantage point for guests to witness an abundance of wildlife and the world's largest annual animal migration. About two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle make their way north into Kenya's Masai Mara, passing through the Grumeti and Serengeti reserves.

The Edwardian manor house and private cottages are an interesting blend of authentic European style and East African influences.

Singita Sasakwa boasts six 1-bedroom cottages, two 2-bedroom cottages, one 3-bedroom cottage, and one 4-bedroom villa; each with an en-suite bathroom and their own private infinity pool. Each cottage and villa is luxurious and boasts every comfort expected of a 5-star lodge.

The main lodge boasts a shared swimming pool, gym, library, day spa, and boutique. There is also a special temperature-controlled cellar where guests can sample and purchase premium wines.

For children, there is face painting, baking with the chefs, and a mini rangers’ course which teaches kids about tracking and bush survival skills.

Activities offered at the lodge include daily morning and afternoon game drives led by professional guides. Afternoon drives continue into the early evening, offering the opportunity to spot the rare nocturnal species of the African bushveld. For the more adventurous traveler, there are walking safaris that offer a close-up encounter with the smaller wondrous creatures of the bush, stargazing, community visits, swimming, board games and archery which can be arranged.

During your stay, you are likely to see a great variety of wildlife including bat-eared foxes, buffalo, cheetah, Colobus monkey, various antelope, elephant, leopard, lion and Massai giraffe.
