Child policy
Unfortunately no children under the age of 12 years are allowed at the Lodge. Children between the ages of 12 – 18 Years, sharing with 1 or 2 adults will be charged a third person supplement rate on a Fully Inclusive basis.

The Detail

One of Africa’s most romantic game lodges, nestled within the remains of an extinct volcano where game traverse the plane below and Big Five sightings are the norm rather than the exception. Each custom designed chalet offers a romantic sunken bath, an open plan lounge and bedroom, with a fireplace and private balcony.

Join the highly trained and experienced field guides on two game drive adventures per day in seeking out the diversity of indigenous flora and fauna of the area. Included halfway during the game drives, which are conducted in open, 6 seated vehicles, are morning coffee, muffins and sun downer stops. Field guides will take you on an ethological journey through this unique South African paradise.

Private spa treatments can be arranged in the privacy and comfort of your chalet or in the tranquil setting of the pool area. Full body massages, manicures and pedicures

This flagship lodge in the Pilanesberg caters for intimate, romantic, personal celebrations, private dinners on your own deck or next to a romantic fire that combined with the experience of up close and personal encounters of wildlife, will leave you breathless. No cell phone reception, TV or email communications. For those guests preferring the ultimate tranquil getaway, Tshukudu is the ultimate retreat to soothe your mind, however if you should require any network connections, it can be arranged.

Nestled in the centre of the lodge is an intimate and quiet plunge pool with umbrellas, pool towels and a barman on standby at all times. Take a refreshing dip after a morning game drive or a peaceful nap in the afternoon. Drinks are on call so make yourself at home in the lazy sanctuary of the pool area. (No children under 12 years)

Breakfast A continental buffet is served on the deck and your personal hot breakfast meal can be ordered through the kitchen. High Tea A light lunch is served just before the afternoon game drive and consists of something sweet and something savoury to see our guests through until dinner. Dinner Tshukudu is renowned for its exceptional African cuisine. Meals are enjoyed on the main deck, in the intimate dining room or around the fire. Every night you step into a different dining experience where the chef will present his 5 course menu, accompanied by our field guides who share their experiences in the bush with our guests.
