Absolutely amazing place 2 stay, staff were all great ready 2 help & friendly, went on 3 drives, Vusi the guide has an abundance of knowledge & is extremely funny which makes the 3 hour drive go by quick!!! Fantastic views of the river & super relaxing, Olifants camp is a must

The house has a superb location and Oliphants is the best located rest camp in Kruger. The house is large and very well equipped, but it badly needs maintenance , particularly to the doors and window, which does pull the impression and rating down a bit. We also had problems with baboons, which tried to break into the kitchen, we were a bit concerned since it was not possible to lock several of the doors.
Olifants Camp is a Beautiful camp- very quiet and clean. Staff friendly.

We stayed at Olifants Restcamp on 16 - 18 Jan 2016 and we were impressed with our chalet. It was spacious and clean and the beds were made everyday. We also had a stunning view and will definitely come back to this camp. Just sad that the river is so empty hope next time you had some rain.Also the sunset drive was so nice our guide (Wonderful) gave us a lot of information on animals and plants and trees that we saw. And he stopped quite frequently for us to take photos when we saw animals. I wanted to see lions and although we did not see any in the end he made an effort to take us to a spot where there a day before were a pride of eight. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Absolute fantastic. Bungalows very very clean, peaceful,no load music, no hooting and just the sound of animals. Will definitely go more often. The person at shops and bungalows were absolute helpful and friendly as well as Mrs. Astleigh Pannell, her friendly and helpful manner when booking trips.

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The camp was clean and welcoming. Our room had everything we needed the first night but then a few towels were not given for the second night. The fridge didn't work very well. However, everything you needed was there and what a view. The shop is fantastic and you really don't need to travel with food at all. They have everything you need. We are planning a return trip with our children.

We had a wonderful week-end at the Krugerpark. The game viewing was superb. The accommodation was above our expectation and the service very friendly.
Everything was perfect. Will definitely be back to this camp. Having a perimeter rondavel was awesome.
It would be nice to have a different selection of restaurants - by the third night there, the Mug and Bean menu becomes a bit limiting. Their service is excellent though.
Having just stayed in Lower Sabie it was such a pleasure to enter our bungalow and realize not all camps are of the same standard. We expected basic and clean and that's what Olifants gave us. We were happy to use the shower and the kitchen was very adequate for our needs and YES we would definitely choose to stay at Olifants again.
We had a really nice stop over at here and with the new kitchen facilities it was super.

A peaceful camp with great staff. Our rondawel was serviced by a wonderful lady called Rose. She is helpful and went out of her way to make our stay great. Please pass this on to the superiors.

We have not been to the Kruger Park for ten years. We were so pleasantly surprised to see how well managed the camp is. It was a delight to interact with the staff who were so friendly, courteous and blessed with great smiles. Olifants is always a great camp. Our accommodation unit was marvelous, luxurious, extremely comfortable, spotless and serviced.
We really enjoyed our stay. The camp was very neat as well as the accommodation. The upgrade works perfectly. The staff were very friendly all over. The service at Mugg & Bean at Lower Sabie and Satara was excellent. Will visit the park again.
No hot water in shower when we arrived. Maintenance came to fix it. Otherwise good.

As this was our first trip to the Kruger we did not know what to expect - and the first part of our trip we were stationed in the South of the park.I have to say that we were blown away - what fantastic service we received - the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional!A big element of spoiling and treating for us was the fact that each morning after we had left bright and early on our morning drives - the staff had come in and made our beds - holiday bliss!The location of the camp is more than beautiful - the views from the camp are absolutely breathtaking!Although we were prepared (by fellow KNP lovers as well as some of the rangers at the camp) that we might see less animals - we continued to sight numerous species.The difference in landscape was noticeable and for us newbies it was a wonderful experience to be able to appreciate the beauty that the more northern areas have to offer.The camp quickly settled into our hearts and we will most certainly be back!

Xmas 2013 I spent in Olifants. The camp as usual was very clean but the restaurant and shop were ghastly and the staff sullen and grumpy..not a pleasure at all. This trip the camp was still immaculately clean but shop and restaurant were well stocked and food good and the staff an absolute pleasure. I truly enjoyed the whole experience although I saw less game variety .. beyond your control! Congratulations Your help line for this review was answered promptly and added to the joy of dealing with the parks. Sondre did so well with the bookings too.

Had a lovely view and a very relaxed time. Great wildlife viewing too. Awful 2 hour wait for food at Mugg and Bean restaurant on 1 Jan but even that didn't really spoil our stay.
Superb camp, well serviced, nice clean shops Mugg and Bean was a bonus. Food excellent and the view excellent. Loved this camp will defiantly stay here again.

We had a four night stay in Olifants. The camp is well situated in the middle of The Kruger Park. A great restaurant, with the nicest view possible for breakfast!! The chalet is nice and we had everything at our disposal for a braai. This was our second stay in this rest camp and we will certainly return there.

Our two bungalows had an excellent view of the Oliphants River bend and we could literally game watch from our verandas.. herds of elephants, buffalo, antelope, and lots of hippos and birds. A feast of game viewing without moving from our seats!

Olifants Camp was exquisite in it's own way with magnificent river views and views to the horizon. The bungalows are quite ok but the most disappointing thing is the Mug and Bean restaurant because the service is very poor...
Our stay at Olifants rest camp was wonderful. It was very clean and tidy and everyone was very helpful. We will definitely be coming back to stay!!!
We stayed at the guesthouse which is very luxurious and has an excellent view on the river. We felt like part of the royal family while staying there! Please note that the rooms are all situated in alone standing buildings, which can be a problem when travelling with young children.

The huts, new restaurant and all the new improvements makes Olifants a very attractive camp.
This was our fourth visit to Olifants camp and we were very impressed with the upgrades. We stayed in a premium river-view bungalow that had recently been upgraded with new thatch and paint and it was very pleasant. Disappointing that the restaurant menu was so limited, but, hopefully the new restaurant will be open soon.

The view from our chalet was mind blowing. On the perimeter with all the night sounds and resident bushbuck that was not phased by our presence.
Camp lovely and clean. Beautiful outlook deck. Staff friendly and eager to help.

Olifants Restcamp is the best choice for me if I go to the Kruger Park. It is a very beautiful peaceful camp, and we do feel that we are in the bush close to nature. The restaurant is okay, but it will be really great to have a Mug and Bean there with great quality food and value.
The camp was pleasant, peaceful and clean. The service received was efficient and helpful. It is a privilege to enjoy the nature reserve in this manor.

What magnificent views! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Accommodation was comfortable and offered us all the essentials. I would, however, suggest that each bed has its own bedside light and that the shower was more than a trickle. Apart from those little issues, I certainly give Olifants a high rating. Thank you. Much improved since the last time I visited this camp.

Well placed in the Kruger park, nice accommodations especially with river view.
Do not forget to book the excursions before arriving as they might be full once you will be in the camp (we only had the night safari available, but was funny and interesting anyway).
the holidays were very nice, vrey quiet, the cottage was well equiped, the braai area was very nice and there were a lots of things to eat and to buy at the supermarket.... we want to come back again this year, perhaps we could have a reduction for our second visit???
A bit of a surprise that we had to rent utensils, but accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Get a perimeter bungalow with a view of the river and you feel like you are overlooking your own piece of Africa.
Thank you for a pleasant stay in the Kruger National Park. We will be back in the winter months, hoping to see even more game.
Staff were friendly and helpful.It seemed that someone showered in the Bungalow after it was cleaned by staff and before we arrived.(Some mud footprints were on the shower floor.) We did not report this.
