This 11 day tour is a combination of a vibrant bustling city with an African safari experience in two uniquely different regions of South Africa.
Your journey begins in the vibrant city of Cape Town, better known as the “Mother City”. Cape Town is uniquely different with something to offer each person who visits. With a bird’s eye view from the top of Table Mountain to the sweeping vineyard valleys of the Cape Winelands. From diving with great white sharks to the breath-taking scenery of the Cape Peninsula. The next four days are yours to explore the beauty of this incredible city.
Ellerman House is perched beautifully on the slopes of Lion’s Head in the prestigious Bantry Bay area in Cape Town, ideally located for a tour of the Cape Peninsula and a stone throw away from one of South Africa’s best beaches. After a day of adventure, Ellerman House is perfect for some relaxation; with spa treatments, exquisite cuisine, award-winning South African wines and breathtaking views of the ocean. The personal service and range of exclusive experiences offered at Ellerman House are such to delight you.
Next, you travel to Tswalu Kalahari, South Africa’s largest private game reserve, now protecting over 271 815 acres of spectacular grasslands and mountains.
Tswalu was listed by National Geographic as one of the “Unique Lodges Of The World”.
As a pristine malaria-free wilderness area, you are sure to experience some fantastic game viewing over the next three days, with each game drive tailored to your particular interests. The lodge also offers guided bush walks, horseback riding and for the more adventurous traveler, a tree house sleep-out experience in the Wilderness. The Kalahari sky is breathtaking so expect to be blown away with every sunset and starry night.
A visit to South Africa is not complete without experiencing the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Dulini Moya is a classic safari lodge for the sophisticated traveler with intimate private suites located on the banks of the Mabrak River. The lodge offers a peaceful ambiance within a riverine setting and boasts a wine cellar, gym, and boma. Your three days in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve will be spent experiencing exhilarating Big 5 game drives, guided bush walks, and unique bush dining.
This tour is ideal for solo explorers, couples, friends traveling together and families.
You arrive at Cape Town International Airport where you are met and transferred by road to Ellerman House. Perhaps this afternoon you will visit the attractive Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or relax by the pool with your favorite drink.
