Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will be your guide and driver for the duration of your stay. After a brief introduction, you’ll be transferred to your chosen hotel in Entebbe where you can settle in for a restful night. Bed and Breakfast.

Start your day with an early breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe before setting off for Kibale Forest National Park. The drive will take you through the scenic landscapes of the Western Rift Valley’s Albertine Escarpment, passing the lush green countryside and traditional villages in the Bunyoro and Toro Kingdoms. On clear days, you may catch a glimpse of the majestic, snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the "Mountains of the Moon." Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees, and over 325 bird species, including the rare Green Breasted Pitta. After your arrival in the afternoon, you will visit the Kasenda craters and take a hike to the 'Top of the World' viewpoint for a panoramic view of the region’s crater lakes. Later, you’ll visit the stunning Lake Nyambuga, featured on Uganda’s 20,000-shilling note. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay. Full Board.
Accommodation: Turaco Tree Tops
After breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a half-day chimpanzee tracking experience. You’ll be transferred to Kanyanchu, the park headquarters, for a briefing on chimpanzees and their habitat before setting off on a forest trek to search for these fascinating primates. Once you spot them, you’ll have one hour to observe and take photos or videos. Along the way, you may also encounter other primates such as L'Hoest's monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and black-and-white colobus monkeys, as well as forest elephants and buffalo. After your chimpanzee trek, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a nature walk through Bigodi Swamp, known for its birdlife and primate diversity. This community-run wetland also supports local youth through employment as tour guides. Overnight at your lodge. Full Board.

After breakfast, you’ll leave Kibale and journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, renowned for its population of endangered mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay. Full Board.
Accommodation: Buhoma Haven Lodge
Today, you’ll experience one of the most unforgettable wildlife encounters—gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the dense forest to track the mountain gorillas. Depending on their location, the trek may take between 2 to 5 hours. Once the gorillas are spotted, you’ll have one hour to observe them up close, taking photos and asking the rangers any questions about these incredible creatures. Along the way, you might also see other wildlife such as butterflies, primates, and various bird species. The entire trek, including the return to your lodge, can take between 5 to 9 hours. Afterward, if time permits, you may visit the Ride 4 A Woman project to learn about local women’s crafts, such as basket weaving and knitting. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Full Board.

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before beginning your journey back to Entebbe. You’ll stop for lunch along the way, arriving at the airport in the late afternoon, in time for your onward evening flight.
