You will be flown to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, and then transferred to the 5-Star Ulusaba Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sands. We will handle everything for you! Itinerary

Day 1: A Magical Safari Escape in the South African bush

Begin your journey in Johannesburg with a flight from OR Tambo International Airport to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. You will be met and transferred to the Ulusaba Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. (The scheduled flights for this safari may also begin/end in Cape town with direct flights from Cape Town to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport available at an extra cost).

This beautiful lodge is built along the banks of a dry riverbed and some of the rooms are built ‘tree house’ style and you really get the feeling of being in the heart of life in the bush. Your room will provide fascinating views of the animals as they stroll past on their way to the nearby watering hole.

Ulusaba's biggest drawcard is undoubtedly the plentiful and extraordinary wildlife – you’ll never be bored here! Adventure and relaxation are on offer as guests live out their ultimate safari experience – from setting off on a morning safari to enjoying a gin & tonic on a late afternoon safari.

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner in the evening. All meals and drinks are included in your rates, and with at least six opportunities per day to eat, we promise you won’t go hungry!

Day 2-4: Game drives and wildlife

There are two daily game drives at Ulusaba, one leaving early in the morning and one leaving late afternoon, each lasting around three hours. Times will vary depending on the season, but you should always keep your eyes peeled for the Big 5.

You’ll traverse over 13,500 hectares of the private reserve with your dedicated Ranger and Tracker who will tailor your game drive just for you. Your game drive will leave you with some vivid memories. The Big 5 is often spotted throughout the reserve as well as the famous Leopard, wild dog, an incredible array of antelope, and a range of big cats.

Depending on the weather there is usually a safari walk directly after breakfast if you fancy it.Need to take some time out between the excitement of your game drives? Ulusaba Safari Lodge has plenty to help you relax during the day from relaxing spa treatments to chilling out by the pool.

Day 5: Morning Game Activity and Departure

This morning you will enjoy a final breakfast and the last game drive before you transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to catch a flight back to OR Tambo Airport for your outbound flight back home.
