Tswalu Kalahari is known as South Africa's largest private game reserve with over 110 000 hectares of traversing land. Tswalu Motse - The Motse is a luxury camp with 9 private guest legae (Tswala for ‘home’) set at the foot of the Korannaberg Mountains with sweeping views of the Kalahari. Three of the legae have been designed specifically for families, with 2 separate bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, connecting to a luxurious separate living room.

The main house features elevated decks, elegant lounges, an infinity pool, a secluded spa, mezzanine library, satellite TV and an endless view over the savannahs.

Tswalu Tarkuni - Set amid two rolling mountain ranges, Tarkuni is an oasis of serenity with beguiling views on every side. The private homestead offers five luxurious en-suite bedrooms for the exclusive use of a multigenerational family of a party of friends, each with its own private deck and star bed and boasts a vast open-plan lounge and dining room, an intimate mezzanine library, and a spa therapy suite. A covered deck leads to a private tsala and swimming pool.

The homestead has its own dedicated team including a host and private chef to ensure meticulous and completely personal service. A private vehicle, personal field guide, and tracker complete this bespoke safari experience.

Tswalu Loapi - Suspended between earth and sky, Loapi evokes the carefree, nomadic spirit of camping and a return to a true wildernessexperience. Resting lightly on the land are six tented safari homes (four x 1 bedroom and two x 2 bedrooms), each a private,contemporary micro camp inviting deep engagement with the southern Kalahari in all its unfettered, changeable beauty.

Tswalu Kalahari is home to the magnificent black-maned lions, critically endangered desert black rhino, elusive pangolin and aardvark, over 77 species of mammals, approximately 240 species of birds and an abundance of insect life. There are more species of butterfly to be found at Tswalu than in the entire British Isles.
